(Psycho)acoustics of war and healing

How does sound induce fear, control crowds, bring calm and healing, or even kill? 

This is a part theory, part practical workshop exploring sound as a physical and political matter. Participants are introduced to acoustic and psychoacoustic phenomena within historical and contemporary political contexts before creating sketches of performances or interventions with selected phenomena.
